OTTAWA - The Ottawa REDBLACKS signed linebacker Dan Basambombo and offensive lineman Jakub Szott, the club announced today.

Basambombo was drafted by the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the second round, 19th overall, in the 2020 CFL Draft.
The 6-foot-1, 232-pound from Congo played eight games in 2018 for Laval, while recording a total of 31.5 tackles and two sacks.

Szott was drafted by the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the fourth round, 29th overall, in the 2020 CFL Draft.
The 6-foot-5, 314-pound Toronto native was a mainstay on the offensive line during his four seasons with McMaster.
