Rochester Red Wings News Release

The Rochester Red Wings today unveiled a logo to commemorate their 15th season at Frontier Field. The "15th Anniversary season logo" is a hybrid of the logos of the Red Wings and Frontier Field.

The Red Wings 15th Anniversary Logo was designed by Diana Polle, a senior in RIT's New Media Design & Imaging program.

"In many respects it's hard to believe that we are coming up on our 15th season at Frontier Field. In that time, there have been many great moments and our fans have seen some extremely talented players on their way to the Major Leagues. We look forward to commemorating many of those memorable moments and players throughout the 2011 season. We think Diana did a great job of matching our logo, - and the Frontier Field logo - to celebrate this historic season," said Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason.

The new logo will adorn many of the Red Wings' print and marketing efforts in 2011. T-shirts featuring the new logo will be sold as part of the Red Wings Holiday Packs.

Holiday Packs go on sale this Saturday at the Red Wings Team Store and will be available through Thursday, December 24th . The Holiday Packs include a four-pack of undated Red Wings game tickets, a 15th Anniversary T-shirt, and a coupon for a 2011 yearbook for just $28 (a savings of $14).

In addition, the Red Wings will be celebrating their 15th Anniversary at Frontier Field with a magnet series that features a top moment from each year at Frontier Field that will be given out regularly during the 2011 season. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite moment from each year online at www.redwingsbaseball.com starting in February.

Additional 15th Anniversary promotions will be announced as the 2011 season approaches.
