Daytona Beach, FL - The Bradenton Marauders (55-51) fell 2-1 to the Daytona Tortugas on Monday night at Jackie Robin- son Ballpark. The Marauders scored their only run against Tejay Antone (W, 11-6) in the fourth inning, using a pair of ground outs to move 2B Kevin Kramer around after a lead-off double. Antone pitched six innings and limited the Marauders to just six hits while striking out five. After the first two batters of the game reached, Bradenton did not gain consecutive baserunners again in the game. Ariel Hernandez worked around two walks and a wild pitch in the ninth to record his first save. Daytona took a 1-0 lead against Yeudy Garcia (L, 5-8) in the second inning. Brian O'Grady was hit by a pitch with one out.

O'Grady ran on a full count pitch to Shed Long, and C Tomas Morales threw errantly to second base on ball four to send O'Grady to third. Chad Tromp's check swing grounder plated the game's first run. Angelo Gums singled home Daytona's second run in the fourth. Garcia went five innings and struck out five in the loss. RHP Tate Scioneaux faced the minimum over three innings in relief.
