Our Founding Fathers fought and died for the right of "Free Speech in Colonial America.Their is fact and their is fiction.Fact:Harold Zensbeium,the Gwizzlies advisory board member, in the 1980's brought the USBL to Georgia and in February 2004 I brought the ABA to Atlanta.Fact: The Gwizzlies are the longest running minor league pro basketball organization in Georgia since the 1980"s.Fact:The USBL Atlanta Trojans owned by Zensbeium never had a fan base that exceed 500 fans in it's entire existence.Fact:Harold Ellis,Darnell Asrmstrong,Jerry Reynolds,Spud Webb,Manute Bol all played and was paid by my close friend Harold.Fact: Again attendance never exceed 500 fans.Fact:The Georgia Gwizzlies marketing plan that was used included a paid TV commerical that ran on Cox Communications from November to December 2007.Fact The Georgia Gwizzlies had press conferences photos sessions withe Mayor of Macon at City hall,along with other Macon notables as legendary SW Macon coach Don Richardson.Fact: The Gwizzlies organization and operation is ran and partly owned by Macon citizens.Fact: The Gwizzlies have visited every outlet it could from the Macon Mall to public schools,rec centers,hospitals and homeless shelters in a community outreach effort.Fact: Wmaz-13,Macon channel 24 and 58 have covered Gwizzlies from opening media day to homes ballgames and Wmaz-13 report game results nightly on the news when they report the Atlanta Hawks.Fact:The Gwizzlies is the only franchise in professional sports that has living history sitting on it's board of advisors and that the same last name bears a Federal National Holiday each year in January.Fact: The Gwizzlies is the only minor league team in the country that the owner of the famed California Summer Pro Summer,Dr.Younseiu, okay consistently to be in his summer league.Fact:The Gwizzlies are one of the few teams that always have played ballgames in venues that is suited enough for NBA teams as well to practice or play at--Morehouse College-Macon Centerplex-Fort Valley State University.Fact:The Gwizzlies operation has always be welcomed since 2005 to join the USBL,IBL, WBA,CBA or NBA-D League by their leagues officials.Fiction:Georgia Gwizzlies status according one writers opinion.
