Akron, OH- The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by the Coury Financial Group, finished a four-game series against the Akron Racers with an 8-1 loss on Sunday.
Sarah Pauly took the loss for the Rebellion despite a solid pitching performance. Pauly tossed four innings, allowing only one run and four hits. The veteran ace used the fastball well, fanning six in her campaign before being relieved by Dallas Escobedo.
Rachele Fico earned her second win of the series for the Racers.
After a scoreless pitching duel through three innings, a two-out single from catcher Taylor Edwards put Pennsylvania up 1-0. Edwards highlighted the Rebellion's offense, batting 1-1 with an RBI on the afternoon. Mandy Ogle, Lauren
Lappin and Bianca Mejia also collected hits in the losing effort.
