Rebellion Fall to the Akron Racers

Washington, PA - The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, was defeated by the Akron Racers at Firestone Stadium by a score of 18-2 on Saturday.

Rebellion rookies Mandy Ogle and Sarah Prezioso each collected RBI's in the loss.

Ogle, who smacked a solo homer in the top of the fourth inning, was signed earlier this season by the Rebellion and has appeared in every game for Pennsylvania. Currently, the graduate from the University of Texas is amongst the team leaders in batting average (.250) and has one home run and three RBI. Besides her offensive talent, Ogle has built a good rapport with the inaugural pitching staff of the PA Rebellion.

Prezioso, who collected an RBI single in the seventh, is another standout rookie for Pennsylvania.

The Rebellion close out their series in Akron tomorrow, June 15th at 2:05 p.m. The game can be heard online atwww.msasports.net/broadcasts.
