REAL SALT LAKE 2014 PRESEASON UNDERWAY IN CASA GRANDE, ARIZ.

Real Salt Lake kicked off its 2014 preseason on Saturday as the team travelled to Grande Sports Academy - the home of the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy - just outside of Casa Grande, Ariz. for the club's first training stint. The Claret-and-Cobalt will train at Grande Sports World until Feb. 1.

RSL's Preseason Central will host a wide-range of content including irreverent features, videos and photos, training updates, highlights and game recaps. After returning briefly to Salt Lake City, RSL will head on Feb. 4 to Southern California for its second leg of preseason training. The team will train at the University of California-Irvine in Irvine, Calif. from Feb. 4-13 and play in two matches - one against UC-Irvine on Feb. 8 at 3:00 p.m. MT at Anteater Stadium and a second against MLS Western Conference foe Chivas USA on Feb. 13 at 12:00 p.m. MT at StubHub Center.

Following its stint in Irvine, the team will head back to Utah for a weekend before returning to Arizona on Feb. 17 for a two-week stint in Tucson to participate in the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup preseason tournament. This will be Real Salt Lake's third-consecutive year in the round-robin competition, which will also include fellow MLS clubs Chicago Fire, Chivas USA, Colorado Rapids and New England Revolution, along with USL Premier Development League club FC Tucson.

The FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 19 and will conclude with the Championship and Consolation matches on Saturday, March 1. A full schedule and ticketing information for all of the 2014 MLS Preseason games in Tucson can be found at www.FCTucson.com .

Following the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup, RSL will return to Utah to begin preparations for its MLS season opener on Saturday, March 8 at LA Galaxy. Following the opener at the Galaxy, RSL will travel up the California coast to take on San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium on Saturday, March 15. The Claret-and-Cobalt will open its 2014 home schedule on Saturday, March 22, when it will host the Galaxy at 2:00 p.m. MT at Rio Tinto Stadium in a nationally televised game on NBC Sports Network. REAL SALT LAKE TO PLAY ITS FIRST PRESEASON GAME ON WEDNESDAY

Real Salt Lake will play its first preseason game this Wednesday, going up against the Real Salt Lake Academy-Arizona Under-18 squad at Grande Sports Academy in Casa Grande, Ariz - the home of the RSL-Arizona Academy. The Claret-and-Cobalt is in Casa Grande, Ariz. for the club's first preseason stint, training there until Feb. 1. The RSL-Arizona Academy Under-18 team is ranked second in the country by Top Drawer Soccer and is the current leader of the Southwest Division with a 8-1-3- record. Highlights and a recap of the match will be available on RealSaltLake.com's new Preseason Central page.

REAL SALT LAKE 2014 SEASON TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW

The only way to currently secure tickets to any of Real Salt Lake's 17 regular season home games is to Join the Pride and become a 2014 RSL Season Ticket Holder. RSL fans can purchase 2014 season tickets at the Rio Tinto Stadium box office, online at www.realsaltlake.com/tickets/jointhepride or over the phone at 801-727-2700. Becoming a 2014 Season Ticket Holder guarantees the same seats for all MLS regular season home games and additional bonus games for a total of 20 home games.

RSL CREATES ALL-TIME PLAYER REGISTRY

Real Salt Lake has built an all-time player registry in order to provide a comprehensive historical record of every player that has been signed to the club from its inaugural season of 2005 through the present day. Individual player statistics are sorted by six different categories: MLS Regular Season, MLS Cup Playoffs, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League and All Competitions. The individual statistics recorded in each category are games played, games started, minutes played, goals scored, assists, cautions, ejections and goalkeeper stats.

The Real Salt Lake Player Registry will be published on RealSaltLake.com later this week.
