Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah - Real Salt Lake (8-3-2, 26 pts.; #2 in West) resumes MLS action on Saturday, May 26 with their first "repeat performance" of the season, as they once again face Western rival FC Dallas (3-7-4, 13 pts.; #7 in West) at Rio Tinto Stadium, presented by Budweiser. FCD enters the match with an eight-game winless streak, after a 2-0 loss to the Chicago Fire Wednesday cost them the Brimstone Cup. On the other hand, RSL is hoping to maintain a five-game unbeaten streak Saturday, with a 7:00 p.m. MT kickoff. Fans can enjoy pre-game activities in Sandy at the Carnival Real Festival at 5:00 p.m. on the stadium's East Lawn.

The 1-1 draw at Dallas back on April 25 saw first-year RSL FW Emiliano Bonfigli come off the bench and shoot an equalizer in the 71' to erase a Brek Shea penalty kick from first-half added time. While that match saw the absences of DF Jamison Olave and FW Fabian Espindola due to suspensions, this contest will be lacking the enforcements of MF Kyle Beckerman and GK Nick Rimando who are currently at a US Men's National Team camp. This will result to Yordany Alvarez in the midfield, and Kyle Reynish in net, who remains unbeaten in league play after a 0-0 draw when starting at Chicago.

Tickets remain available for Saturday's match versus FC Dallas, and can be purchased online via the Zions Bank Ticket Outlet on RealSaltLake.com, over the phone by calling 801-727-2700, or in person at the Rio Tinto Stadium Box Office beginning at 10:00 on game day.
