REAL MONARCHS KICK OFF INAUGURAL PLAYOFF RUN THIS FRIDAY, OCT. 20 at 7:30 p.m. MT AGAINST SCARAMENTO REPUBLIC FC

S ANDY, Utah (Sunday, October 15, 2017) - The 2017 USL Playoff field is now set after a full weekend of games determined a tight race for the final seeds. After last night's 2-1 victory over LA Galaxy II and Sacramento Republic's 2-2 draw at Reno, the Monarchs will play host to Republic FC THIS FRIDAY Oct. 20 to kick off the third-year club's first-ever playoff run.

Kickoff for the match is set for 7:30 p.m. MT from Rio Tinto Stadium, marking the third meeting of the year between the two sides as the Monarchs came away victors in both previous matches. When the two sides last met Sept. 27, the Monarchs earned a 2-0 road victory that helped spur its closing run for the USL Regular Season Championship Shield.

Tickets to the match - part of the club's "AsOne Weekend," with RSL hosting its 2017 MLS reg. season finale Sunday the 22nd at 2:00 p.m. MT - can be purchased at the Rio Tinto Stadium box office www.RSL.com/moarchs/schedule .
