Raven's, Donovan's Reef to Host "Tip a Raven"

The New Haven Ravens and Donovan's Reef restaurant (1212 Main Street, Branford) will host a special "Tip a Raven" night Sunday August 11 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut.
Ravens players â including shortstop Jason Bowers, outfielder CoCo Crisp, righthander Cheyenne Janke , righthander Scotty Layfield and more -- will be assistants to the wait staff that night. All tips made that night will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. The event will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m., following the Ravens' game with the Florida Marlins affiliate Portland Sea Dogs.
