Rattlers President Chris Presson Joins Edmonton Eskimos

August 7, 2019 - Indoor Football League (IFL) - Arizona Rattlers News Release

PHOENIX - The six-time World Champion Arizona Rattlers announced team president Chris Presson has joined the Edmonton Eskimos. Presson, who also served as the president of the Northern Arizona Suns of the NBA G League, has accepted the position of Team President and Chief Executive Officer with the Eskimos who are a member of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

"I'm forever grateful to Ron Shurts, Kevin Guy and Rattler Nation for an opportunity to be a part of such an iconic team," said Chris Presson. "Thanks as well to all of my co-workers, our players, coaches, trainers, doctors, and partners who all played a part in my journey. I'll be forever indebted to Ron and the Phoenix Suns for giving me an opportunity and teaching me so much."

Presson spent the last five seasons serving as team president for the Rattlers and was vital in the team's growth and success off the field. He was crucial to the team's first Indoor Football League (IFL) championship in 2017, served on the IFL's Executive Committee, earned the Executive of the Year award in 2016, and led the business to three consecutive Franchise of the Year awards from 2017 through 2019.

"We wish Chris well as he embarks on the next chapter of his successful career," said Team Owner Ron Shurts. "We thank him for his dedication to the Rattlers over the past five years."

The Rattlers' search for the next leader of the Arizona Rattlers is underway.
