Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Rattlers have re-signed WR/LB Tom Pace, the team announced today. The former Arizona State Sun Devil will return for his third season. The team also signed OL/DL Kelvin Ingram, who will begin his third tour of duty with the team. As per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Pace had a solid sophomore campaign in 2004, catching 56 passes for 666 yards and 16 touchdowns in 13 games. He also threw a touchdown pass, and returned a kickoff for a touchdown. On defense, Pace recorded 31 tackles and an interception. In his brief career, Pace has already accounted for 31 touchdowns, scoring six different ways (run, pass, reception, INT return, fumble return, and kickoff return).
Ingram, who appeared in three games for the Rattlers in 2004 before being released, played for Todd Shell in New York over the final 13 weeks of the season. He appeared in 14 total games, recording eight tackles. 2005 will mark the ninthth season of Arena Football for Ingram, and third stop in Arizona. He has also played for Orlando, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Carolina, and the Dragons. Ingram was a member of the 1998 ArenaBowl Champion Orlando Predators.
