Rattlers Head Coach Kevin Guy in ESPN Studio
July 18, 2014 - Arena Football League (AFL) News Release
CHICAGO - Arizona Rattlers head coach Kevin Guy will appear as the special guest analyst in studio during halftime of the Week 19 "NET10 Wireless AFL on ESPN" telecast on Monday, July 21, the League office announced today.
Guy, who has led Arizona to three consecutive ArenaBowl appearances and two straight ArenaBowl titles, is in his sixth season as the general manager and head coach of the Rattlers. In six seasons at the helm for the Rattlers, he has compiled a regular season record of 76-26 and a postseason record of 8-3. He earned AFL Coach of the Year honors in 2011 after guiding the Rattlers to a League-record 18 wins and an appearance in ArenaBowl XXIV. The Rattlers (14-2), who secured the best start in League history this season after earning 14 consecutive wins, will look to recover from their first two-game losing skid in nearly two years as they play host to the Portland Thunder (5-11) Sunday afternoon on ESPN3. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Tampa Bay Storm (8-8) will travel to "Deaf Valley" to take on the Spokane Shock (9-7) in this week's "NET10 Wireless AFL on ESPN" telecast at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
