Raptors team up with the American Lung Association of Illinois

Rockford, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors are teaming up with the American Lung Association of Illinois to present the 18th Annual Critics' Choice Dinner featuring former Philadelphia Eagle walk-on Vince Papale, the inspiration for Disney's film Invincible.
The event will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Cliffbreakers (700 W Riverside Blvd.). The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a wine pull and silent auction, followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. After dinner there will be a raffle, with Papale scheduled to speak at 8:35 p.m.
The cost is $75 per person and tables of ten can be reserved by contacting the American Lung Association of Illinois at (815) 397-6933 or (815) 962-6412. All proceeds from the event will be used for asthma research and education.
