
Raptors Sign Three State School Players

The Rock River Raptors are proud to announce the signing of DE Brian Ceaser, WR Ade Adeyemo, and WR Dawanzelle Hopson.
Brian Ceaser is a 6'3" 245 pound defensive end out of Western Illinois University. In his first two years, Brian played tight end where he had one catch for 5 yards. Then Brian moved to the defensive side of the ball and played defensive end his junior and senior years. Brian was named to Gateway All Conference in his senior season where he recorded 74 tackles and 10 sacks. After graduating from Western, he has played for the Fort Wayne Freedom and the Kane County Eagles.
Ade Adeyemo is a 6'0" 195 pound wide receiver out of the University of Illinois. In Ade's career at Illinois, he had 24 catches for 343 yards and had 1 touchdown. In his junior year, he saw action in eight games, starting in two. He also had a 6 catch day verses Northwestern. In Ade's first two seasons at Illinois, he was a member of the special team and did not record any stats. His career at Illinois was cut short after a break out day where he had 6 catches for 93 yards against Western Michigan. Ade broke his leg on the first play against Purdue on the following weekend. Coming out of St. Rita High School, Ade was named a Chicago Sun-Times Top-30 area prospect.
Joining Ade on the offense is Dawanzelle Hopson, a 5'11" 191 pound wide receiver out of Eastern Illinois University. In Dawanzelle's senior season he had 56 catches for 466 yard and 3 touchdowns. At Eastern Dawanzelle played in 29 games and started 18 of the 29 games where he tailed 87 career catches and 5 touchdowns for 859 yards. In his last game at Eastern he posted career numbers with 12 catches for 100 yards and 1 touchdown verses Jacksonville State.
