Raptors and Thunder Holiday Party on December 15

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford Thunder and the Rock River Raptors announced today that they will co-host a holiday party on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 4 -7 p.m. at the its indoor training facility (209 N. 3rd St., Rockford, 61101).

The evening is designed as a fun evening for all ages. There will be a quarterback challenge, speed pitch challenge, beanbags, sumo suits and more. Santa Claus will also be on hand all evening for both kids and adults alike. In addition, DJ Doug will be on hand to play all varieties of music throughout the evening.

The top three fans that come dressed as their favorite holiday character (i.e. an elf, Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, etc.) will receive their choice of a Thunder or Raptors jersey.

All team merchandise will be available for retail at 10% off.

Fans attending the event are asked to donate one non-perishable food item to the Northern Illinois Food Bank for each person entering the door. The teams will provide some food and drink for fans.
