
Rapid City's Tim Boron Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (October 29, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Rapid City Rush goaltender Tim Boron has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending October 27, 2013.

CHL Goaltending Leaders
The Winnipeg native won both of his starts this past weekend stopping 67 of 69 shot (.971 save percentage) and has been in net for every minute of his team's undefeated start to the season (4-0-0). On Friday, Boron made 34 saves as his club defeated Brampton 4-1 and on Saturday, he turned away 33 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over the Beast.
Playing in his fourth season with the Rush, Boron is 57-25-5 with Rapid City and his 83 all-time CHL wins has him ranked in the top 25 in the League's history.
