Marquette Rangers News Release

Marquette - With a North American Hockey League North Division championship in their hands, the Marquette Rangers junior hockey team is offering an opportunity for fans to help them celebrate the title; and to help them kick off their Robertson Cup run.

Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM the team will be hosting Rangers Fan Fest at Lakeview Arena.

This free event will offer a chance to skate with the team from 6:00 - 7:00, followed by autograph sessions, locker room tours, along with several chances to win door prizes including autographed sticks, helmets and team apparel.

"We'll have the music going, there will be snacks and beverages available and we're looking to share in the teams' success with the fans that helped to make this happen," Rangers spokesman Mark Evans said,

"It's a celebration, plus it's a chance for our players to thank the fans for their support over the year because they've been great. When a team goes 21- 6 at home the fans are obviously a big part of that and our players and our organization wants to recognize that support. It's going to be a blast and we're really excited to host the event."

The Rangers are also announcing an across-the-board pricing plan for tickets for the upcoming playoff series against the No. 4 seed Motor City Metal Jackets. Fans can buy first-round tickets for $5.00 per game if they purchase tickets for all three home games of the series.

The times and dates of the games against Motor City will be announced early this week once terms of the series are agreed to by both organizations.
