Rangers Advance to Conference Finals

With an 8-3 win over the London Knights the Kitchener Rangers advance to the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series.
The Knights' Chris DeSousa scored the lone goal of the first period to put London up 1-0. The Rangers had a 9-8 shooting edge in the period.
The Rangers scored five goals in 11 shots on the Knights to take a 5-1 lead just over the 7:00 mark of the second period. 48-seconds in to the period, Julian Cimadamore scored short-handed to tie the game 1-1. Jeremy Morin gave Kitchener the lead with his first of three goals of the game just over the 3:00 mark. Gabriel Landeskog scored another short-handed marker for Kitchener to take a 3-1 lead. Jason Akeson scored his fifth goal of the playoffs at 6:25 advancing the score 4-1 and Morin netted his second of the game to make it 5-1. London's Seth Griffith replied 20-second later to close period scoring 5-2.
The Rangers scored three goals by 11:56 of the third period to jump ahead 8-2. Goals came from John Moore, Dan Kelly and Morin. Daniel Erlich scored a power play marker for London at 16:16 to make it 8-3.
The Rangers travel to Windsor this Thursday, April 15th to play game one of the Western Conference Finals at 7:05pm. They return to The Aud on Saturday, April 17th for game two at 7:00pm.
Tickets for home games one and two of the Rangers vs. Spitfires Series will go on sale tomorrow - Tuesday, April 13th at 10am.
A reminder to season ticket holders that all unclaimed tickets for game one will be released on Friday, April 16th at 10am.
