Rampage Open Tryout Saturday Night
December 4, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Grand Rapids Rampage News Release
The Rampage will hold an open tryout this Saturday for anyone who thinks they can make the cut for an Arena Football League team. Athletes will perform the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, and broad jump before participating in position and one-on-one drills. Expected participants include nationally-recognized college standouts as well as local West Michigan hopefuls.
More importantly, the Rampage will guarantee three players a two-day contract with the team during the 2009 season. These players will engage in full practices with the team, helping the squad prepare for upcoming games and even having the chance to earn a full-time spot on the roster.
