
Rainmen Announce Game 1 Of The PBL Play-Offs

Halifax, NS - The Halifax Rainmen have secured a 4th place finish in the 2009-2010 PBL Regular Season. This marks the first time that the Rainmen have made it to a championship. They will face off against the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry on Thursday, April 15, 7pm at the Metro Centre, in a best of three series. The teams will then meet in Oklahoma for game 2 on April 18, and if needed, game 3 on April 20th.
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to compete for our first championship," said Andre Levingston, Rainmen Team Owner. "Our guys have worked very hard this season, and haven't taken their eyes off the goal of making it to play-offs. We have the best fans in the league and we look forward to playing in front of them on Thursday."
