Rainmen Advance to Playoffs

On Thursday night the Halifax Rainmen defeated the Saint John Mill Rats in a thrilling overtime match by a score of 85 to 79 in front of a crowd of 4,105 fans. The win allowed the Rainmen to advance to the playoffs, where they will face the Lawton Fort-Sill Cavalry.

The leading scorer for the Rainmen was DeAndre Thomas with 20 points, followed by Taliek Brown with 15. Desmond Ferguson added 14 points in the win, while Trayvon Lathan added 11.

The Rainmen will play their first of three games against Oklahoma at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 2 at the Halifax Metro Centre. Tickets to the first playoff game can be purchased at any Ticket Atlantic location, or at the Metro Centre Box Office. Adult tickets will be $15 each, while child, youth and senior tickets will be $10 each.
