Railers to honor the Armed Forces on Saturday

Reading, PA - The Railers will be hosting the Armed Forces All-Stars Saturday, March 29 at 1pm in an exhibition match-up at the Sovereign Center in Reading. The team is made up of active duty men from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force.

Prior to tip-off and throughout the game, there will be several exciting events occurring to honor the military. Brigadier General John Gronski will be speaking before the game. The Railers and Wal-Mart will be honoring Veterans, National Guard, and all Active Duty Military and their families.

The Railers are proud to have Wal-Mart as the Game Day Sponsor. Wal-Mart has donated hundreds of tickets to the OLIVET Boys and Girls Club of America, along with other local charities in Berks County. Wal-Mart will also be sponsoring a "Missing Man/POW" Table honoring all missing soldiers.

The National Guard will have a table set up so fans can send messages to troops currently serving in Afghanistan. The roll of paper used to write on will be sent overseas to the soldiers.

In addition, the Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be accepting donations at the game.

Tickets for Saturday's game are $7 each (floor seats excluded).
