Raiders Announce Fan Day

LAKELAND,FL- The Raider Battalion is working day and night to prepare for the 2012 season. "It's hard work to get the team ready for the season and there is much more to it than most people see. We are Lakeland and Polk County's team and we will put the best team on and off the field to represent this great area" commented Owner Michael Mink. The Raiders begin play on March 10th at the Lakeland Center where they will host the Rome Rampage. The Raiders have officially made the opening night "Heroes" night to give thanks to all of the service men and woman.
The Lakeland Raiders are proud to announce that they will partner with The Ledger in having a "Raiders Fan Day" on February 11th. The fan day will begin at 10am and run till 5pm. The event will be hosted at the Lakeland Center and will be free for everyone to attend. The Raiders will be having giveaways, team apparel for sale, 25% off season tickets that can be purchased and the Raiders will be hosting a contest for the Number 1 fan. There will also be a kids zone set up, games, face painting and much more. The team will perform drills for the fans and will be signing autographs and taking pictures. "We want the community to really see how great of a team we have and that I am not settling for anything less than a championship this year" commented head coach Michael Mink. "Our goal is to have our arena as loud as we possibly can so that teams fear having to come to Lakeland and fear the Raiders. The season will be here before you know it and history will be made this year" commented General Manager Feddy Azofeifa.
The Raiders opening game on March 10th will begin at 7:15pm with a variety of festivities prior to kick off. Season tickets are currently on sale and group prices are also available.
