GRAND RAPIDS - The Grand Rapids Rampage today announced local Clear Channel radio station WSNX as the new presenting sponsor of the Rage Dance Team through August 2007. The Rage Dance Team and WSNX will team up at various events throughout the year to help enhance and bring excitement and enthusiasm to the West Michigan community.
"WSNX has always had a great relationship with the Rage Dance Team," said Eric O'Brien, WSNX program director and host of 'the eob show.' "This new partnership shows an evolution of what we have already had in place to a relationship that benefits the community, as well. We are excited to see where this trail takes us.'
Rage Dance Team members will appear in conjunction with WSNX at several community events including the Komen Grand Rapids Race for the Cure on Sept. 30. In addition, 104.5 FM WSNX will play public service announcements regarding the numerous local charitable causes supported by the Rage Dance Team throughout the year.
"Community service is the underpinning of this collaboration," said Scott Woodruff, general manager of business operations for the Rampage. "Both the Rage Dance Team and WSNX have a history of serving the community and this partnership will allow us to combine our promotional powers in order to benefit the people of West Michigan."
