
Rage Dance Team Announces Upcoming Audition

GRAND RAPIDS - Auditions have been set for the 2007 Rage Dance Team, which will celebrate its 10th year bringing excitement, energy and enthusiasm to Grand Rapids Rampage fans and the entire West Michigan community. Rage Dance Team coach Connie Butler will begin the selection process with a workshop on Oct. 1 at MVP Sportsplex in Grand Rapids.
"As I begin my ninth season as the Rage coach," said Butler, "I am once again looking for positive individuals who can turn on the energy and excitement, work well with others and make a solid commitment to the team, the organization, the community and me."
Dancers in attendance will be asked to perform a series of technical skills before learning a routine that will be judged based on the performer's poise, showmanship, dance technique, personality and energy. Those who excel at this workshop will be asked to return the following week for a final audition.
Rage Dance Team members must be a high school graduate over 18 years of age, fan friendly, and show a high level of commitment.
