THUNDER AND LIGHTING: Georgia's rookie tandem of WR/LB DEREK LEE and OS TROY BERGERON have been tearing up the AFL. "Thunder and Lightning" lead the League with a combined 37 touchdown receptions heading into this weekend's Southern Division showdown with the Orlando Predators (5-2) this Saturday at 7 p.m. on FSN South and Sun Sports. PLAYING WITH A PURPOSE: San Jose WR/DB BARRY WAGNER (6-3, 225, Texas A&M) needs 133 all-purpose yards to pass GEORGE LAFRANCE and move into second all-time in career all-purpose yards. Wagner also needs 240 yards to pass HUNKIE COOPER and become the AFL's all-time leader in all-purpose yards. Currently, Wagner has 20,348 career all-purpose yards. Wagner is looking for his chance this Saturday as the defending ArenaBowl Champion SaberCats play host to the Grand Rapids Rampage.

BISHOP CONTINUES FANTASY RAMPAGE: Entering Week 8 of the AFL season, former Heisman Trophy runner-up and Grand Rapids QB MICHAEL BISHOP remains the top overall player in AFL Fantasy, averaging 52.3 fantasy points per game. Last week, Bishop (6-2, 220, Kansas State) totaled 39 fantasy points. He completed 15-of-31 pass attempts for 235 yards and five touchdowns (1 INT) in Grand Rapids' loss to Chicago on Sunday. He added one rushing touchdown (9 rushes for 28 yards).

This Sunday at noon ET on NBC, Tampa Bay QB SHANE STAFFORD (tie-No. 3 fantasy point leader) and the Tampa Bay Storm (4-2) face the Philadelphia Soul and fantasy point leader (10th) WR/DB SEAN SCOTT. Also this Sunday at noon ET on NBC, the Chicago Rush (4-3) will host the AFL's No. 7 fantasy point leader – New Orleans VooDoo OS AARON BAILEY (31.7 FP/G).
