
Quest To Host Event At Oktoberfest

St. Louis Quest News Release
St. Louis Quest captain and League MVP Benishe Roberts, along with Two-Time All-American Jenny Manz will host a free volleyball serving game outside the children's area at Oktoberfest this weekend. Fair-goers of all ages will have the opportunity to win great prizes, get autographs and interact with one of St. Louis' most fan-friendly pro athletes.
Oktoberfest is a city-wide celebration of its German heritage. Other activities include a parade Saturday morning, German bands, food and beverages, beer gardens, antique car show Sunday, and nearly 100 craft booths.
When: Saturday, October 5, 11a.m. â 3 p.m.
Sunday, October 6, 11a.m. â 3p.m.
Where: South side of Katy Depot inside St. Charles Frontier Park- located to the right of North Fifth Street along the riverfront.
Athlete Bios
Benishe Roberts: The 6-foot-2 Roberts was named the United States Professional Volleyball (USPV) League MVP in 2002. Selected as player of the month in both March and April. Was a two-time All-American from Long Beach State University.
Jenny Manz: The 6-foot-0 Manz is an All-American performer from the University of Florida. Nicknamed "The Hammer" for her wicked swing. Was a consistent contributor this season. Is one of six founding athletes in the USPV, having played in all three USPV seasons.
