Quebec Remparts fined

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, December 6, 2007 - The Commissioner of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today imposed a $2,000 fine to the Quebec Remparts organization for an extreme game misconduct penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, which was levied upon their head coach, Patrick Roy, following last Sunday's game in Cape Breton. The decision was rendered after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, there will be no further comment.
