Amarillo, TX 12/17/09 - A familiar face, quarterback Julian Reese, has resigned with the Dusters for the 2010 season, the team announced Thursday.
"One of my main reasons in resigning with the Dusters was that my family is here [in the Panhandle] and I already work in this community," commented Julian. "I can't wait to begin working with coach Lyles."
Reese rejuvenated the Dusters last season and was a fixture in the Dusters organization in 2004, 2005, and 2008. He led Amarillo to the organization's only division title, conference title, and league championship in 2004, when the Dusters played in the IFL with current Dusters Head Coach Jon Lyles.
"Bringing back Julian is defiantly a plus for our organization," echoed Dusters Head Coach Jon Lyles. "Julian has the work ethic on and off the field that I believe will garner wins in 2010."
