New Orleans VooDoo Quarterback Adam Kennedy vs. the Jacksonville Sharks

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired veteran quarterback Adam Kennedy, announced Storm Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch.
"Adam is a proven quarterback in the Arena Football League," said Gooch. "We are confident in his ability to step in and compete at the highest level. He is a welcome addition both on and off the field."
Kennedy (6-foot-5, 230 lbs., Arkansas State) enters his third season in the Arena Football League and first in a Storm uniform. He joins the Storm after spending the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the New Orleans VooDoo. Last season, Kennedy started in 13-of-13 games for New Orleans, completing 260-of-422 passes for 2,863 yards and 43 touchdowns. He would also rush 37 times for 114 yards and 11 touchdowns. For his career, Kennedy has completed 405-of-668 passes for 4,398 yards and 69 touchdowns, while rushing 76 times for 189 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Prior to turning pro, Kennedy began his collegiate career at San Joaquin Delta College where he earned All-Valley Conference honors. He would transfer to Utah State for his sophomore and junior seasons, helping lead the Aggies to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in 2011. Kennedy finished his collegiate career at Arkansas State, where he completed 218-of-315 passes for 2,363 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior season.
Kennedy spent time in the National Football League when he signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2014.
