GATINEAU - As part of the QMJHL's 50th Anniversary Tour stop in Gatineau on Friday, November 16, many activities have been scheduled to allow fans of all ages of the Olympiques and of the League to celebrate this special day.

It will start in the morning with a visit from a few players from the current edition of the Olympiques at De La Traversée Elementary School. In collaboration with the Breakfast Club of Canada, the players will serve breakfast to the kids before taking part in a friendly ball-hockey game. The youngsters will also have the chance to take some photos with the President's Cup and the Memorial Cup.

The cups will then go to the Branchaud-Briere Complex from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., for the 50th Edition of the Gatineau Pee-Wee Tournament. The players and their parents will have the chance to take a picture with those prestigious trophies.

In collaboration with the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce, a luncheon will be organized at La Squadra Restaurant, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Radio host Nicolas St-Pierre will be the event's emcee and guest speakers will be QMJHL's Commissioner Mr. Gilles Courteau, QMJHL's Hall-of-Famer Mr. Marc Saumier, and Olympiques' Alumn and Memorial Cup Champion Mr. Martin Menard. Tickets for the event are available now for $50.

From 3:00 P.M. to 5 P.M., a cocktail will then be organized at Houston Avenue Bar & Grill. The cups will be on site and this event is open to the general public.

To finish the day and the week on a high note, a Happy Hour event for fans will take place in the Jos Montferrand room of the Robert-Guertin Centre, between 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Appetizers from Houston, prizes, Olympiques Alumni, the Cups, and a DJ are all on tap for this event that will end right before the 7:30 P.M. game between the Olympiques and the Drummondville Voltigeurs.

Tickets for this special game are available at the Robert-Guertin Centre's box-office or online at www.ovation.qc.ca.
