Boucherville, QC - The 50thAnniversary of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League was celebrated in a number of ways this season. The announcement of the Top 50 greatest QMJHL players was at the centre of our celebrations.
A panel comprised of six distinguished members of the hockey community (media, executives, scouts)debated, sometimes heatedly, in order to rank them from 50 to 1. The countdown is based solely on their QMJHL accomplishments. The following players stand out among 9511 players who played in the league over the past 50 years.
Here are the ten (10) greatest players in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League history in alphabetical order:

HAWERCHUK, Dale
LAFLEUR, Guy

Their official rank will be announced during the 2019 Golden Puck Awards on April 3, 2019, in Quebec City.
