Pump Jacks Looking for Anthem Singers
May 22, 2015 - Texas Collegiate League (TCL)
East Texas PumpJacks News Release
The East Texas Pump Jacks are looking for impressive voices to sing the Star-Spangled Banner in front of Pump Jacks Nation at home games this season. Whether you perform solo, with a band, or on an instrument, we want you to come audition with us at Irwin UT Tyler Ballpark.
Past performers include professional recording artists, karaoke kings and queens, and contestants of America's most beloved talent shows, like American Idol and The X-Factor. A professional musical background is by no means a requirement for our National Anthem vocalists this summer, but talented artists from East Texas and beyond are lining up for a shot to deliver their rendition of the 200-year-old song.
June 4th marks the Pump Jacks' home opener with the Acadiana Cane Cutters, and Old Glory will be flying in right-center field awaiting your serenade. To schedule an audition, email korey@pumpjacksbaseball.com or call the Pump Jacks office at (903) 218-4638.
