Promotion-Packed Homestand Begins Monday

(LANCASTER, CA) - The Lancaster JetHawks return to Clear Channel Stadium Monday to open a seven-game homestand that is chock full of exciting promotions. A Bobblehead giveaway of a JetHawks Booster Club member, 50s-themed Friday Fireworks and the second Dog Day afternoon of the season are just a few of the promotions on tap for the homestand, which begins June 7 and concludes June 13.

The homestand commences with a four-game series against the Visalia Rawhide, which marks the Rawhide's first visit to the Hangar in 2010. The series opener is another Feed-Your-Face Monday in which fans can purchase a reserved seat ticket to the ballgame and receive all the hamburgers, hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn they can consume for just $10. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

Game two of the JetHawks-Rawhide series marks the return of Taco Tuesday. Fans can purchase tacos for just $2 apiece throughout the game. Additionally, domestic draft beers and soft drinks will be on sale for just $2 apiece. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Hangar Heroes bobblehead series continues on June 9 with the first 750 fans in attendance receiving a bobblehead of a member of the JetHawks Booster Club courtesy of Lancaster Honda. It's also another Winning Wednesday at the Hangar presented by Buffalo Wild Wings and Aaron's. The first 1,000 fans at every JetHawks Wednesday home game will receive a scratch-off ticket to win prizes from the JetHawks and their sponsors. Game time for Wednesday's contest is slated for 7 p.m.

The finale of the JetHawks-Rawhide series features another Cheers Buck Beer Night presented by TapouT Training Center with domestic draft beers available for just $1 apiece through the 6th inning. Additionally, fans in attendance will get a chance to win $30,000 from Beaven Insurance as part of $30,000 Thursdays presented by Jeri Beaven-Mattox Allstate Insurance. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Lake Elsinore Storm will arrive in Lancaster for a three-game weekend series beginning June 11. The series kicks off with a Fireworks Friday presented by KMIX 106.3 FM. It's also I Love the 50s night at the Hangar and classic 1950s songs will accompany the fireworks extravaganza, which follows the JetHawks-Storm clash. Game time for Friday's game is set for 7 p.m.

Game two of the JetHawks-Storm series is another Giveaway Saturday at Clear Channel Stadium with the first 1,500 fans in attendance receiving a JetHawks Chatterbat courtesy of OPSEC. Additionally, a Girl Scout Sleepover will take place following the contest. First pitch for the game is slated for 7 p.m.

The homestand concludes with a Dog Day afternoon. Fans can purchase pooch passes for $3 each and sit with their dogs on grass berm on the right field side of the Hangar. It's also a Big League Dreams Sunday presented by Radio Lazer 96.1. Fans will have the opportunity to play catch in the outfield before the game and children will get the chance to run the bases following the game. The homestand finale is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.

The 2010 season marks the 15th anniversary of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and since its inaugural game in 1996, The Hangar has produced more than 90 Major Leaguers and inducted 25 members into The JetHawks Hall of Fame.
