
Promes Joins Gold Sox Roster

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox have signed Zach Promes out of Chabot College. "Our roster is coming together and I'm excited to see how we play this season. I'm confident everyone's abilities to make this a great team. Zach is a solid player and we're excited to have him on the field," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
The outfielder is a RS Freshman from Chabot College where he is studying Criminal Justice. During his senior year at Dublin High School, Promes batted at .441 with 30 hits, 13 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases in 24 games played. He Made the All East Bay Second Team OF and was a Diablo Foothill Athletic League (DFAL) First Team Selection OF. In addition, he earned the East Bay Player of the Week.
Promes has been playing baseball since he was six years old and before each game, he says he has to pray. "I am very happy to be a part of the Gold Sox and look forward to meeting all the fans," said Promes.
