Boston Pride News Release

Two-time NWHL All-Star, Boston College star and U.S. National Team forward Dana Trivignois returning to the Boston Pride for the 2018-19 season.

"I'm very excited for the opportunity to be back with the Boston Pride," said Trivigno, 24. "Last season was my first with the Pride and I had a lot of fun. As a team we started out slow, and came together a little too late in the season. This year, with that experience under our belt, I think we will definitely be able to get a better jump on the season and come out strong from the get-go."

Trivigno was selected to participate in the NWHL All-Star Games in 2017, and was also a member of Team NWHL for its two-game series against the U.S. Olympic Team in Florida in January. Over two seasons in the NWHL, the first with Connecticut, the 5-4 forward has 6 goals and 11 assists for 17 points in 29 games.

"Dana is an outstanding player in all areas of the game and she'll have an important role with the Pride this season," said Boston head coach Paul Mara. "We are very happy that she's staying with us in Boston. I'm confident she's going to have a great year."

In her four-year collegiate career at Boston College, Trivigno was 57-81-136 in 148 games. As a senior, she had 17 goals and 30 assists for 47 points in 41 games while serving as the Eagles' captain.

With the USNT, Trivigno played in the 2015 and 2016 IIHF Women's World Championships, winning gold medals in both, and two Four Nations Cups, winning in 2016 and finishing in second in 2014.
