Pride Announce Opening Weekend Festivities, Home Promotions. and Ticket Sales; Players Arrive! Season Tickets, Luxury Suites, Birthday Parties, and Picnics still Available!!! Order Now!!!

The Nashua Pride has released its 2008 home game promotion schedule which features, a hats-off to former manager Butch Hobson, Atlas PyroVision Productions fireworks displays, give-a-ways for more than half of the 47 home games played at Historic Holman Stadium, and appearances from Monkey Boy, Soda Pop the Clown, and Krazy George.

Opening Day, May 22nd, will feature the 2007 Can-Am League Championship Ring presentation, the Pride's new Payday concessions promotion, an appearance by professional cheerleader Krazy George, and a Best Western commemorative dust pan and broom.

May 23rd has been designated as Butch Hobson Night, in honor of the former eight year Pride manger, as he will make his return to Nashua to see his number retired and receive his 2007 Can-Am League Championship ring.

The Pride and Atlas PyroVision Productions have partnered-up again to light up the night sky above Historic Holman Stadium with a spectacular fireworks display after eight regular season games. Fans can enjoy Atlas's award winning sights and sounds following Pride home games on May 23rd and 31st, June 14th and 21st, July 19th, and August 2nd, 16th, and 23rd.

The Pride have also scheduled 26 give-a-way nights, in which fans will have the opportunity to receive a complementary gift upon entering Historic Holman Stadium with a purchased ticket. Give-a-way items range from a Bud Light sponsored jersey beverage koozie to Nashua Pride fortune cookies.

The World Famous Monkey Boy will make his return to Historic Holman Stadium on two occasions to entertain the Nashua faithful. Also making appearances this season will be Soda Pop the Clown, the official team clown of the Nashua Pride, and the man who invented the popular stadium phenomenon known as "the wave", Krazy George. The Nashua Pride have announced that the team's ticket office will be officially opened for business Saturday, May 10th at noon.

Fans can purchase individual game tickets for any of the 47 regular season home games, including MVP seats for $10, Box seats for $8, and reserved seats for $7.

Scheduled start times for home games Monday through Saturday are at 7:05pm, while all Sunday home games are scheduled for a new 5:05pm start.

There are three special start times in 2008. On Thursday, June, 12th, the Pride will celebrate U.S. Army Education Day at Historic Holman Stadium and will play a 10:35am morning game. On Sunday, June 15th, the Pride will start at 4:05pm on Goodales Bike to the Park Day, and on Wednesday, July 30th, the first pitch will be thrown at 12:05pm in accordance with Camp Day.

The Pride begin their defense of the 2007 Can-Am League Championship when they open-up with a pair of home games on May 22nd and 23rd against the Brockton Rox at Historic Holman Stadium.

Can-Am League newcomers, the Ottawa Rapidz, will make their first visit to Historic Holman Stadium for a three game series beginning Friday, June 20th.

Former American League Home Run Champion, Cecil Fielder, who now manages the Atlantic City Surf, will make his first appearance in Nashua on Monday, June 30th, when the Pride host his Surf for a three game set.

The Pride have also scheduled eight Atlas PyroVision Pyrotechnics fireworks extravaganzas for the 2008 season. Fans who attend any Saturday night home game, and also Butch Hobson Night on Friday, May 23rd, will be treated to a fireworks display at the conclusion of the game. Please note that the 2008 fireworks dates are subject to change.

Players Arrive

One by one, the defending 2007 Can-Am League Champions checked into spring training at Historic Holman Stadium on Friday.

Familiar faces such as Brian Duplissie and Hideki Nagasaka entered the club house along with some of the new memebers of the Pride like Manager Rick Milller; all ready to begin the new season.

Spring training starts Saturday morning, when the Pride begin to prepare for Opening Day on May 22nd, when they host the Brockton Rox.
