February 4, 2008 - Premier Basketball League (PBL) News Release

(Rockville, MD)... The Premier Basketball League has announced the creation of a new Internet radio program entitled PBL Fast Break. The program debuts next week and will be available for download through the OurSports Central web site (www.oursportscentral.com).

The PBL is the first professional basketball league to produce a regular downloadable Internet radio program, sometimes referred to as a "podcast." A menu of programs can be found prominently on the site's front page. The highly-regarded web site is considered the nation's preeminent source for information on minor league and second-tier professional sports.

PBL Fast Break will be produced and hosted by veteran professional basketball play-by-play announcer, Bill Hazen. The program utilizes the latest in digital audio technology to increase the sound quality of interview segments from throughout the league.

The inaugural program will cover opening night in the Premier Basketball League, as well as provide updates on league races. Guests will include co-founders Tom Doyle and Dr. Sev Hrywnak, as well as Rockford Fury coach and General Manager Dave Knickelbein.
