ORLANDO - June 25, 2015 - The Orlando Predators added two rookie free agents to its roster Thursday, announcing the acquisitions of wide receiver Derrick Hector and defensive lineman Edward Mosley.
Hector (6-4, 225) played two seasons of college football at Morehouse College (Division II) in Atlanta, Georgia. The Alabama native hauled in 87 passes for 1,146 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final two campaigns. Hector was most recently a member of the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Mosley (6-2, 257) was a two-time Second-Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference selection during his final two seasons at Alabama State (FCS). As a senior in 2014, he posted 28 total tackles with six sacks, 10.5 stops for loss, four quarterback hurries and one forced fumble. Mosley finished his collegiate career with 15 sacks and 25 tackles for loss.
The Predators return to the Amway Center on Saturday, June 27 to take on the New Orleans VooDoo. The game will be broadcast live locally on WKMG-CBS 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm EST.
