TULSA, Okla. - The Arena Football League, in conjunction with NFL Network, announced that the First Round playoff game between the Orlando Predators and Jacksonville Sharks on Friday, July 29, 2011 will be aired live on NFL.com at 8:00 pm ET.
"This tremendous rivalry is a must watch. Because NFL Network is making this game available to all fans on NFL.com, it is extremely advantageous. This NFL.com broadcast potentially exposes our game to a wider audience," AFL Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz said.
This will be the first time an AFL game has been shown on NFL.com. In addition, the game will be televised via tape delay on Saturday, July 30 at midnight and into Sunday morning on NFL Network.
The 2011 AFL regular season has come to a close and eight teams remain on the Road to ArenaBowl XXIV. The 2011 season culminates on August 12, 2011 in ArenaBowl XXIV on NFL Network's "Arena Football Friday."
