
Predators to Open Playoffs June 1

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 17, 2003) -- Although the first round pairings for the 2003 Arena Football League playoffs will not be determined until Sunday, the Orlando Predators already know when they will be playing.
The Predators (12-4-0), one of four teams that have already secured first round byes, will host a home quarterfinal playoff game on Sunday, June 1 at the TD Waterhouse Centre. Kickoff is 3 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NBC.
Tickets range in price from $5 to $40 and are on sale now by calling the Orlando Predators box office at 407-44-PREDS. They may also be purchased at the TD Waterhouse Box Office, any TICKETMASTER outlet or by calling the Arena Football League ticket office at 1-866-AFL-TIXS.
With Orlando's 50-38 win at Detroit Friday night, the Predators will be seeded no lower than third for the playoffs. Should Georgia upset Tampa Bay on Saturday night, the Predators would claim the Southern Division championship and move up to the number three seed.
