Predators Add WR Antonio Robinson, DB Arthur Hobbs

ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators have agreed to terms with two free agents in veteran wide receiver Antonio Robinson and rookie defensive back Arthur Hobbs. Robinson played in parts of the past two seasons with the division-rival New Orleans VooDoo while Hobbs enters his first season in the AFL after spending the past two years in the Canadian Football League.
Prior to entering the Arena Football league, Robinson (6-2, 200, Nicholls State) played two seasons in the National Football League. He signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent during training camp and later joined the practice squad of the Seattle Seahawks. Robinson went on to sign with the Green Bay Packers, where he played two seasons and was a member of the Super Bowl XLV Championship team.
A Florida native, Robinson attended South Dade High School in Miami. He played collegiately at Nicholls State, where he earned All-Southland Conference second-team accolades as a receiver and honorable mention as a returner in 2009.
Hobbs (5-10, 190, Nebraska-Kearney) most recently played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. As a rookie in 2013, he registered 32 tackles with two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Prior to entering the CFL, Hobbs signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
During his senior season at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Hobbs posted 54 tackles with three tackles for loss, 18 pass break ups and two fumble recoveries. He also accumulated 295 yards with two touchdowns on six interception returns and was named a first-team Division II All-American in his final season.
