SECOND TIME AROUND: Frisco Thunder Head Coach Troy Esprit felt better about the Intense Football League's team second day in pads Wednesday than he did after Tuesday's first full-contact workout.
"I'm much more pleased today than I was yesterday," Esprit said. "We're still not completely satisfied, but what I saw today was closer to what we're capable of achieving as a team."
HIGHLIGHT: WR Jason Deml made a one-handed catch just before hitting the wall on what would have been a long touchdown pass from Wes Cooper.
HITTING SOMEONE ELSE: The Thunder will hold a scrimmage with the Kaufman County Krunch of the Independent Indoor Football Alliance Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Centennial High School indoor practice facility.
A playoff team its expansion season, the Thunder hosts the opening game of the 2008 Intense Football League season on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. against the San Angelo Stampede Express.
