
Portland's Peila Voted Week 18 AFL MVP

CHICAGO - Portland Thunder Jack linebacker Bryce Peila has been voted AFL MVP for Week 18 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.
Peila (6-1, 205, Western Oregon) tallied 3.5 tackles, an interception and scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery in Portland's 44-31 victory over the LA KISS in Week 18. The NET10 Wireless Rookie of the Year candidate has recorded a takeaway in 12 of his 16 games played this season.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Peila took home 50 percent of the fan vote, beating out fellow candidates Cameron McGlenn of the New Orleans VooDoo and Tracy Belton of the Orlando Predators.
