Poor Air Quality Postpones FC Edmonton vs Valour FC Game
June 1, 2019 - Canadian Premier League (CPL)
FC Edmonton News Release
Toronto, ON - Due to smoke from Alberta wildfires, today's Maximum Air Quality Health Index is greater than 10+ which is considered dangerous. As a result, we have decided to postpone Edmonton's 4:30 p.m. MT game vs. Valour FC to tomorrow - Sunday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m. MT.
Our players, organization, fans and supporters' safety and health is the Canadian Premier League's top priority and we don't want to encourage people to leave their homes when it is dangerous to their health.
Tickets for today's match will be valid for tomorrow. More information about tomorrow's game will be shared on FC Edmonton's website later today.
