Playoff Format Highlights First-Ever UIF Meetings

January 20, 2005 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF) News Release

The 12 member teams of United Indoor Football (UIF) came together over the weekend in Omaha, Nebraska, to share ideas on all aspects of sales, marketing, team operations, and finalized the playoff format at the league's first-ever league meetings.

Eight of the league's dozen teams will be eligible for the playoffs, which will begin July 23rd at the home arenas of the top-seeded teams.

"We are excited to give an opportunity to a majority of our teams," UIF Executive Director Dakota Crow said. "With three former national champions and five former conference champions, we are assured of having a great post-season and we feel all 12 teams will make a run at a playoff berth," Crow added.
