
Players of the Week announced
February 25, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced that Jason Smith of the San Jose Skyrockets and Jamel Staten of the Toledo Ice were named the ABA Players of the Week. The awards were announced on ABALIVETALK, the weekly talk show for the American Basketball Association.
Smith led the red hot Skyrockets to consecutive wins over the Gallup Talons, while Staten averaged 38 points per game in three ballgames for the number 12 ranked Ice.
