Pirates Announce Pre-Season Training Schedule

Saco, ME - The Portland Pirates announced Wednesday that they will begin training camp for the 2014-2015 season on Monday, September 29 at the team's official High Performance Training and Practice facility OA Sports Center in Saco.
Camp kicks off Monday morning at the MHG Ice Center with medical exams and a team meeting and dinner in the evening. The first on-ice practice will take place on Tuesday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Practice will be held at the same time on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.
The team will play a pair of pre-season games against the Manchester Monarchs on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th. Saturday's game will take place at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland at 7 p.m. Tickets are general admission and will be only be on sale day-of-game. Sunday's game will take place at the Sullivan Ice Arena on the campus of St. Anselm College at 3 p.m.
Training camp resumes on Tuesday, October 7th with practice from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. through Friday the 10th. On Friday the 10th, the team will host a Media Day luncheon and press event from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
All on-ice practices are open to the public with free admission.
