PIFL 2015 Schedule Unveiled

NASHVILLE, TN (October 14, 2014) - Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) is proud to
announce the release of the 2015 regular-season schedule and can be viewed in its entirety by logging
onto
www.proifl.com/team-schedule.
The 51 game schedule will feature eight teams playing 12 games each beginning on March 27th and
ending with the PIFL Championship game being played the first week in July. The league will consist
of just one division with the league's top four teams advancing to playoffs.
The Nashville Venom will start their quest to defend their PIFL Championship hosting the Alabama
Hammers in the 2015 season's opening game on March 27th. Nashville will begin the year with back-
to-back home games while Alabama will open the Cosmo Dematteo coaching era with a pair of road
games ending with a trip to Richmond.
After missing the playoffs for the first time in two years, Richmond starts the 2015 campaign with the
first of two meetings in less than three weeks against Columbus meanwhile the Lions open the year at
home for just the third time in nine seasons.
The newly added Erie Explosion will make their PIFL debut on March 29th when they play host in an
early Keystone State matchup against the runner-up from a season ago in the Lehigh Valley
Steelhawks. From late April through May, Erie will be featured in season high four-game home stand
of which the first three all take place on Sunday afternoons.
Moving from Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, PA to the PPL Center in downtown Allentown, PA, before
they can debut in their new nest the Hawks will visit the champion Venom on April 3rd in the season's
lone Championship Game rematch from a season ago.
As the only team to open and end the season at home, the Harrisburg Stampede look to erase what was
not an easy 2014 transition into the PIFL. Quick start will be essential, following back-to-back home
games the Stampede will embark on a league high four game road trip culminating with a visit to
Trenton, a team that swept both of their meetings a season ago.
Trenton begins their sophomore season with four of their first six games taking place at the Sun
National Bank Center. It was a venue where they went 5-1 during the regular season, but was also the
scene where they were bounced early from the playoffs by the Steelhawks. Freedom fans can circle
April 25th on their calendars for a chance at redemption, it will mark the first of two regular season
meetings against the Hawks.
